Amy offers group instruction and experience in mindfulness and deep self-care for healthcare and human services professionals. She works with teams of health care workers to enhance their self-care skills so that they might create a healthy, sustainable work/life balance. Mindful Self-Care for your staff evokes increased morale, enhanced teamwork and improved mental wellness among participants working in the difficult terrain of healthcare and human services today.
Forest Healing
Join Amy for gentle walks or rigorous hikes through the mixed deciduous coniferous forest of the Coast Range Foothills as you open all your senses and breathe in the healthy miracle of the Wingspan Forest. These hikes can be scheduled independently, are available for groups who don't typically have access to natural spaces and also accommodate individuals who know they need to be in the forest regularly to thrive. Mindful in Nature, Compassion Resilience
The positive impact of spending time in nature is well-studied, though so many people spend minimal time outdoors. Perhaps a small group experience for a couple hours each week will help you increase your focus and calm. By exploring distinct aspects of Wingspan Farm and Forest you will also be present with your own experience. This mindfulness adventure is a favorite way to build resilience, celebrate, grieve, and weave nature into the good work you do. Dates for spring 2023 TBD.
